What is W.O.Y.M. Time?
-W.O.Y.M. Time is a ministry for Teens ages 13 & up
spearheaded by Youth Leaders, Victor Caldwell and
Latayla Andrews.

Purpose of Ministry
The purpose of W.O.Y.M. is to provide and to make
available for our teens, a relaxed, cozy and secure
setting outside the customary church
surroundings that will enable our Teens to feel at
ease and open to discuss personal and intimate
matters of the heart. It is a ministry implemented
as a catalyst to support, guide and direct our
Teens on how to address their personal issues
and concerns and teach them how to administer
and channel their normal humanistic frustrations.

Ministry Objectives
The core objectives for the W.O.Y.M. Time Ministry are:
- For Teens to be cautious of, and realize that
our emotions are normal. - For Teens to be able to decipher healthy vs.
unhealthy emotions - For Teens to be able to distinguish between
Godly v. UnGodly behavior - For Teens to understand the importance of
airing out their concerns and realizing that
there is a spiritual solution to every problem. - For Teens to know and to use the resources
available to them when faced with certain
challenges, adversity and hardships.

| YOUTH MINISTRY NEWS The YOUTH RETREAT IS AUGUST 6th - 9th, 2009. The last day to register is Sunday, July 5th. The deposit is on $40. The cost is only $110 and its worth every penny!!! Please let Min. Freida Becerra if your child will attend so that she may reserve enough space for the Faith Youth Ministry. Parents - if you child is signed up for the Youth Retreat, please do not forget to turn in your LIABILITY RELEASE FORMS as soon as possible. This form is required!! Please go to the Youth Table on Sunday or see Min. Freida Becerra or Victor Caldwell. YOUTH CHRISTIAN CAMP for ages 8-12 will be held at Camp Gilmore in Malibu California from July 29th - August 3rd for $50 per child. Please contact Chris Muepo for details (323) 719-8388.
